Photographer Andreas Schmidt has come up with this highly amusing spoof of Martin Parr & Gerry Badger’s 2-volume The Photobook: A History which is widely credited for causing massive increases in the prices of rare photobooks. In Schmidt’s The Cost of Photobooks, he has trawled the internet putting together screengrabs of the auction results for all the books that appear in Parr & Badger’s compendium. Schmidt’s book is in a limited edition of 100, so grab your copy while you can before it sells out and gets sold on the secondary market for exorbitant prices!
