I gave myself a little birthday present a couple of weeks ago: this 1957 special issue of the Japanese magazine Atelier, Subjective Photography: A Collection of Modern Photography in 1957 Japan: 130 Works by 29 Modern Photographers including work by Yasuhiro Ishimoto, Ikko Narahara, Shoji Ueda and, well, 26 others. Aside from the work itself the gravure printing, the paper, the edit… all of these make this a little gem.

Photojojo founder, Amit, has found a 10/10 bone marrow donor match! (10/10 is really good!)

Thank you to everyone who has run a bone marrow drive or sent a note of support. You guys rock.
